-No sooner had she left school than it started to rain
No sooner …than is used to show that one thing happens immediately after another thing. It is often used with the past perfect or past simple, always followed by THAN!!
-No sooner had the bell rang than my students left the classroom.
-No sooner had my students heard the bell than they rushed to the playground.
-No sooner did I hear the noise than I rushed to the spot.
